The Magic of Family Centered Creativity

One of my greatest joys as a mother has been witnessing my daughter express her sparkly beautiful divine essence through her creativity. Holding space for that and witnessing her has allowed it to amplify and strengthen her own connection to her unique self.
Despite my experience in the creative industries, witnessing my daughter has given me my own education, or perhaps unlearning to be more specific, and I have remembered how essential our relationship to imagination, ideas and creativity are to our sense of self and authenticity as adults, however many of us, over time and with layer upon layer of conditioning, have forgotten or at least distorted the process of creativity.
This online workshop, CREATIVE ESSENCE, will guide you back to your self-expression by allowing you to understand and identify your own creativity, where you silence it, or overlook it, where you render it unimportant or yourself as not good enough. It will show you how creating from your imagination, as an adult, can change your reality.
I will also help you to identify your child’s unique creative expression and ways to hold space for them, encourage it and watch them flourish.
The workshop will then delve into the third energy that is formed when we centre creativity in this way in our homes and for our families, which is when your creative expression emanates out into the world.
CREATIVE ESSENCE will give you:
The confidence to identify and support your children in their unique self-expression.
Ways to connect with your children through your own creativity and theirs.
It will show you ways that you can form a generative ecosystem within your home rather than one outweighed with consumption.
The understanding of how your ideas and creativity can shape your outer reality and lived experience and how to strengthen that process for yourself and your children.
CREATIVE ESSENCE is not a workshop that will give you a 'how to' guide or a list of activities to implement for you and your children to be or become more creative. Rather, it will show you how to identify what is yours and your children’s innate creative expression and the potential that holds for you and your family.
Your guide:
I have over twenty years of experience in the fashion image making industry and I hold PhD from Central St Martins College of Art and Design. I have produced fashion shoots across the globe in my capacity as Junior Fashion Editor at The Sunday Times Style: in the middle of the Namibian Desert, on the ski slopes of Switzerland, the hills of Spain, the back of beyond in middle America and just about everywhere in between. As a freelance stylist my clients have included Vivienne Westwood, Mother of Pearl and Universal Music, and my images have been published in Vogue Portugal, Vogue Italia and GQ amongst other titles.
Over and above all, I am the devoted mother to my beautiful magical daughter.
